Strengths
- He liked the idea of themed episodes to cater for a wider range of audiences (e.g. history of film)
- Creating a show about film has the potential to attract a great amount of listeners; as said by Steven, Film is topic that almost everyone can enjoy. This ties with our plan of themed episodes where we can attract listeners with different interests.
- Effective Hammocking slot, by separating 2 shows of similar genre in between, we will retain some audience members who listened to 'Walk a mile in my shoes' and attract older audiences by having themed shows, like greatest film from a particular era.
- Delivered a confident pitch and which ran smoothly as we had rehearsed the presentation to ensure it fit within the 10 minute slot we were given to present it in
- Provided and discussed the real-life considerations thoroughly we have to take if we were were to begin producing this audio media product
Improvement
- Steve asked Harry whether he thought there would be a good enough interaction between the audience and the show because they are unable to see what the hosts are doing. The question wasn't really answered, so as a team we should better prepare for questions from the audience of the presentation. I also think there were discrepancies in the delivery of 'Manter' such as the portrayal of topical issues which may conflict with legal and ethical regulations, which again wasn't really explained properly by Harry who created the 'Manter' show idea.
